Credits & Billing
When a top-up makes sense
A plan hands you a fixed number of credits each period. Run dry mid-month, or face a one-off push like a launch-day batch, and a top-up buys extra credits without touching your plan. They stack straight onto your current balance. It is the pay-as-you-go pump next to your monthly subscription, there for the months that run hot.
How to buy one
Top-ups live in the Billing tab. The top-up dialog lets you choose an amount and opens a hosted checkout page to pay. Just like plan upgrades, the actual credits are granted by a webhook after the payment provider confirms, not inside the checkout window itself.
The same honesty caveat applies here. That provisioning path has had a signing-key gap in production, so credits may not show up the instant you pay. In normal operation they land quickly, but if a top-up has not appeared in your balance and ledger within a few minutes, that is a known failure mode worth raising, not a reason to buy again. Do not re-purchase to force it through, or you can end up paying twice. The ledger is the place to confirm whether the first purchase landed.
Permissions
Buying credits is a billing action, so it is owner only. Admins and other members cannot complete a top-up. If your team needs more credits and you are not the owner, ask the owner to buy them. And if the real blocker is your own per-member cap rather than the org balance, ask them to raise that instead.
