Refreshing from your site
When your real brand moves, a redesign, a new tagline, a repositioning, you do not have to redo the foundation by hand. Re-run the brand scrape and Pinnora pulls the new identity in. It is the same scrape that fired when the project was created, just triggered on demand from the website address on the project.
The guarantee that makes this safe is how it treats your work. Your manual edits are stored as overrides, and overrides win. So a re-scrape refreshes the parts of the foundation you never touched and leaves your corrections exactly where you put them. It behaves like fresh paint on every wall except the ones where you taped off your own edits first. You never have to choose between an up-to-date scrape and the fixes you made by hand.
A few notes:
- Re-scraping is a run. It takes a moment and rewrites brand identity, so it is gated on edit rights, not plain viewer access.
- It needs a website set. With no site on the project, there is nothing to re-scrape.
- If you actually want the scrape to replace something you edited, clear your override on that field first, then re-scrape.
In practice this means you can treat the foundation as living. Edit it freely, and when the brand genuinely changes, re-scrape without worrying about losing the tuning you have built up.
