Lesson 7 of 8 · 5 min

Brand memory (not past creatives)

Curate the brand memory corpus and understand it is not a past-ads learning system.

What brand memory actually is

Be clear about one thing Pinnora does not do: there is no feature that takes your past winning ads and learns from them to make better ones. If you came looking for 'upload my best creatives and the system improves,' that does not exist on the Brand Identity surface.

What does exist is brand memory: a project-scoped store of brand facts that grounds renders. Picture a curated notebook of true statements about your brand, the claims you are allowed to make, the things that are off-limits, the details the scrape never caught, and Pinnora reads from it when it writes and renders. You can add entries, pin the ones that matter most, edit them, and re-index the set so new facts take effect.

You reach it from the Memory sheet in the project's workspace chat, not from the Brand Identity page. Open it, read what is steering your renders, and curate it. Before this view existed the notebook was invisible and only touched by a background job, so the whole point of the sheet is to let you see what is in there and correct it.

If you want to reuse what you made

If your real goal is to reuse creatives you have already produced, that is the Library, and it has its own chapter. If your goal is to lock a specific product photo or an on-camera person into renders, that is the Reference Pack, the next chapter. Brand memory is facts and claims. It is not images, and it is not finished ads. Keeping those three straight saves you from hunting for a feature on the wrong screen.
