Lesson 3 of 7 · 5 min

Finding your organisation settings

Open and edit your organisation's name, logo, notification, and security settings.

Where the settings actually live

If you go hunting for a settings page, you will not find one. Pinnora keeps your organisation's settings as tabs on the organisation home, switched with the view control at the top. The tabs are Team, Settings, Billing, and Usage. There is no dedicated settings URL to bookmark. It is all here on the home.

What the Settings tab covers

The Settings tab is where you change:

  • The workspace name and logo.
  • Notification preferences, which decide what Pinnora emails and alerts your organisation about.
  • Security, including single sign-on (SSO/SAML) setup and your organisation's security policy.

The two actions that carry weight

Two higher-stakes actions also live here, kept apart from the routine ones on purpose. You can transfer ownership of the organisation to another member, and you can delete the organisation outright. These sit away from the everyday settings for the same reason a shredder lives in its own corner, not on your desk: easy to reach when you mean to, hard to hit by accident.

Who gets to change any of this

Editing organisation settings is limited to owners and admins. A few actions are tighter still: billing is owner-only, and so are transferring and deleting the organisation. The next lessons spell out exactly which role can do what, so you can hand each teammate the right level of access.
