Documents open in a real editor
A finished Document generator run opens in a TipTap rich text editor, so you can rewrite, restructure, and reformat by hand before the document goes anywhere. The editor holds the complete document, which means what you export is exactly what you see on the screen, with nothing hidden or trimmed.
Three export targets, all free
Exporting is more like printing a page you already wrote than writing a new one, so it never calls the model and never costs credits. From the editor you can export to PDF, Markdown, or DOCX. PDF uses the same rendering chain the rest of the product uses for print. Markdown is the plain text version. DOCX converts the document's structure, its headings, paragraphs, and lists, into a real Word file.
One correction worth knowing: some older FAQ text in the product still says documents are PDF only. That is out of date. The export menu gives you PDF, Markdown, and DOCX.
Decks export on their own track
A slide deck exports from its own viewer to PowerPoint, PDF, or Markdown. The PowerPoint file puts one full bleed 16:9 slide per page and carries your speaker notes into the notes pane. These builds pull the web copy of each slide and bill nothing.
What costs credits and what does not
Generating a document, a deck, a page, or a single slide redesign spends credits. Editing text, dragging overlays, saving notes, and every export are free. If a run fails or a document comes back empty, check the run status before you re run, so you are never paying twice for the same work.
