Lesson 4 of 6 · 3 min

Carousels and per-channel shaping

Schedule a multi-image carousel across several channels

Posting more than one image

Select several images and the composer stitches them into one carousel instead of several separate posts. The image you mark as primary becomes the cover, the way the first photo leads an album, and the rest fall in behind it as the following slides. That is how you schedule a multi-slide story, a product set, or a before-and-after as a single post people can swipe through.

One caption, shaped per channel

A post can go to more than one channel at once, but no two platforms agree on captions, links, and media rules. You write one shared caption, and the composer builds a separate version for each target, applying that platform's caption length and field requirements. The same carousel can reach several channels in one action and still arrive in the exact shape each one expects, so you are not hand-tuning it six times over.

The carousel is a creative you generate before you ever open the composer. Build it in the carousel tool, let it land in your library, then come here and select its images. The composer does not assemble a carousel for you. It takes the images you already made, orders them behind your cover slide, and hands the set to each channel. If the slides themselves are wrong, fix them in the carousel tool, not here.
