Lesson 3 of 7 · 5 min

Building your pack

Open the pack, add references with the right roles, and stay within the slot limits.

Opening the pack

Open the pack from the References row in the project tools sidebar. What appears is a library-first window: the library on the left is your pack, and the selection tray is what actually gets saved. You browse, you add things to the tray, and the tray is the pack.

Choosing references

You add images from a set of source tabs. Products, People, and Environments pull from a stock catalog, and People also lists founder clips. Uploads and Generations list your project's own files, the things you brought or already made here.

Here is the part that saves you fuss: each image lands in the tray already tagged with a role taken from the tab you found it on. An image from Products arrives as a product, one from People arrives as a person. There is no separate tagging step to remember.

To add your own image, drag it onto the window or use the upload button. It goes straight into your project's Uploads as a reference asset, ready to slot.

The limits

The three named slots, product, person, and background, hold one image each. Beyond the single main subject, you can add up to two extra on-camera people, enough for a two-person skit or a founder plus a customer, and up to twelve general extra references.

You often will not start from nothing. Pinnora can seed a starter pack from images you already uploaded to the project, so a fresh project is rarely empty. When that happens, you are adjusting a pack rather than building one cold.
