Where uploads and brand assets actually live

You know the Library holds generated outputs only, and you can find the real home for uploads, logos, palette, and reusable references.

The Library takes no uploads

People reach for the Library to add a file and find nothing to click. Say it plainly: the Library has no upload button. You cannot drag your own product photo or logo into the grid. It shows what the project generated, and nothing you bring in from outside.

Uploads do have a home. Three of them, in fact:

  • The Reference Pack dialog has an asset browser with an Uploads tab. Drag and drop, or use the upload button, and your files land there as references the model can generate from.
  • Brand Identity is where your brand-level assets belong.
  • The create options panels let you attach an upload at the exact moment you generate, for a one-off reference.

Brand assets live in Brand Identity

Your logo, color palette, brand voice, and brand imagery are not Library items. They live in Brand Identity at the /brand-kit surface. Reusable product, person, and background references live in the Reference Pack.

The confusing bit, again, is the Library's Brand Images tab. The name sounds like it should hold your brand kit. It does not. It holds only the brand-style images the project generated, such as plain images, thumbnails, and decks.

A rule of thumb

Picture two shelves. If you made it inside Pinnora, it is on the Library shelf. If you brought it in from outside, or it defines the brand itself, it is on the Brand Identity or Reference Pack shelf. When you are not sure which you are after, ask one question: did Pinnora make it, or did you? The Brand Intelligence and Reference Packs chapters cover those two shelves in full.
