Lesson 5 of 7 · 5 min

Editing audio creatives

Open a voiceover, jingle, or podcast in the audio editor and trim it, keep or drop words by transcript, clean it up, and mix multiple tracks.

Where the audio editor lives

Audio has no tool in the Edit nav group, and that trips people up. You open the audio editor from the audio creative itself: open a voiceover, jingle, or podcast and click Edit. What loads is a waveform editor, so you see the sound as a shape and work on it directly.

Trimming and transcript edits

Trimming here is a keep-list, not a cut-list. Mark the regions you want to keep, like running a highlighter over the good parts, and the editor drops everything else. There is also a transcript view where removing a word removes the audio under it. Both are deterministic and cost nothing.

Cleanup and mixing

Enhancement covers voice isolation and denoise. Those run a model, so they bill. The Tracks tab is a small multi-track mixer where you layer extra audio, sound effects included, against the main recording. Adding and arranging tracks is free; any AI enhancement inside the mix is the part that costs.

The same editor the audio tools point to

If you arrived from audio generation, this is the same place. Generate a voiceover or a jingle first, then open it here to trim, clean, and mix. There is no separate standalone mixer and no separate sound-effects generator; sound effects are simply a lane inside this mix.
