Chapter 14 · Create

Edit Studio

After this chapter you can open any creative you have already made or uploaded, change it in the right editor, and save the result as a new version without touching the original.

Everything in Edit Studio starts from something you already have. A generator writes a creative from a prompt; these tools change a creative that already exists. Think of a tailor who alters a jacket you own, not a shop that sells you a new one. That one difference drives every rule in this chapter.

There is no single screen called Edit Studio. In the product it is the Edit nav group, and it opens six tools: a photo editor, inpainting, an upscaler, a background remover, a video timeline editor, and an aspect ratio converter. Audio is separate; a voiceover, jingle, or podcast opens its own waveform editor straight from the creative. Every one of them needs a source, so you either open a creative from your project library, shown as a grid of cards, or upload a file. The habit is simple: pick the thing, open it in the right tool, change it, save.

Two kinds of change happen here, and the difference decides what you pay. Moving pixels or samples around, trimming, cropping, stitching, repositioning, reframing, runs as plain compute and costs nothing. Calling a model, generative fill, upscaling, background removal, audio cleanup, burned captions, bills. Each lesson tells you which is which.

Saving never writes over the original. Every edit is kept as a child of the creative it came from, so the trail back to the source stays intact and you can always return to what you approved.
