Making a batch
In the social media ad generator, the Concepts ruler runs from 1 to 100 and starts at 8. Each concept is a separate render and is billed separately, so your cost tracks the number you set. Pushing it to 20 does not cost the same as leaving it at 8, so size the batch to what you actually need.
Why a batch is not one ad repeated
A batch is built to spread out. Every concept gets its own ad style, hook, tone, and scene instead of reusing one layout, and that happens on its own. There is no diversity toggle to switch on. The variation is planned into how the batch is laid out before anything renders.
Picture a brainstorm where nobody is allowed to repeat an idea someone already said. That rule is roughly what the batch enforces on itself.
Avoiding clustering
Left to drift, a batch tends to crowd around the same few ideas, which shows up as ads that all feel same-y. Two things push back. First, headlines are claimed against the batch, so if one concept lands on a headline a sibling already took, it gets rewritten. Second, style, hook, and tone are assigned per concept so they fan out. A distinctiveness judge then scores how different the batch really turned out.
When to iterate instead
If you want a fresh take on one ad rather than a wider spread, re-run a completed render for a new variant. That is cheaper than a large batch when you only need one or two more options. Use the ruler to explore breadth, and re-runs to sharpen a single winner.
