Learning from competitor ads

Use the ad-intelligence modules to study competitor creatives and find social-proof gaps.

Ad library intelligence

Studying what competitors are already running is strategy work, not a research step. Ad Library Intelligence looks at the creatives live in your market and reports what is being said and shown. It sits in the concept layer, so it shapes your angles and concepts rather than your raw facts.

Scouting competitor ads is like watching the other team's game tape before a match. You are not there to copy their plays. You are there to find the gap they keep leaving open.

Social proof gap analysis

Social Proof Gap Analysis studies the proof competitors lean on, reviews, results, named authority, and finds where you are thinner or where there is an opening nobody has taken. The goal is never to mimic a rival. It is to see the field clearly so your positioning claims a space you can actually win.

Where to find them

Both run as modules you dispatch from the Sources page. If you expected creative-ad research back in the Research chapter, this is where it moved, because it shapes strategy rather than gathering brand or market facts.

How to use the output

Treat these as inputs to positioning and concepts. If the ad library shows everyone running the same discount hook, that is your signal to pick a different angle. If the gap analysis shows you have no visible proof, that tells you what to build before you spend a cent on ads. Run them, read the findings, then re-run positioning and the concept lab so your creatives reflect what you learned.
