Angles, concepts, and hooks

Produce creative angles, concepts, and hooks, and know which run on the Sources page versus in the ad options panel.

Angles and positioning

The angle is the stance an ad takes before it says a single word about the product. It comes from the Brand Positioning and POV Engine, which proposes a point of view, plus three ocean modules that frame you against the market. Blue Ocean Positioning looks for uncontested space, Red Ocean Battle Plan plans a head-to-head fight, and White Ocean Brand Soul works from your values. These are strategy tiles on the Sources page, not toggles in the ad options panel.

Concepts

Concepts are the creative ideas an ad can be built on, and they live in the concept phase. The Creative Concept Generator and its extended version produce them, the Creative System Overview ties them together, and Persona-Based Creative Rewriting re-angles a concept for one specific buyer. Each concept carries its own style, hook, and tone, so a batch does not collapse into one idea wearing different colors.

Hooks

The hook is the first line that stops the scroll, the way a sharp headline on a newsstand stops you mid-stride. The Hook Development System generates a library of hook options as a strategy module. Hook styles also show up as a per-render control in the social media ad generator, so you can choose one for a single batch without re-running the strategy module. The two work together: the module gives you the library, the options panel lets you pick at render time.

How to use them

Run these from the Sources page when you want fresh direction, then let the studios pull them in. You rarely need to read every output line by line. The point is simpler: the ad generator draws on real angles, concepts, and hooks instead of inventing them from a one-line brief.
