Lesson 5 of 6 · 5 min

Performance into strategy

Run the Performance Feedback analyzer to turn pushed-ad metrics into a strategy note, and know what it does and does not output.

Numbers on their own do not tell you what to make next. The Analyze panel is where Ads Manager reads your metrics back to you in plain language.

The Analyze controls

Ads Manager has an Analyze panel with three tools:

  • Performance Feedback reads your pushed-creative metrics and writes strategy notes.
  • Benchmark Delta compares this project against its own prior period.
  • Fatigue Forecast flags creatives whose results are decaying.

What Performance Feedback produces

Performance Feedback takes the real metrics from your ads and produces a strategy artifact: a written read of what the numbers suggest about angles, hooks, and offers. It runs like any other generation, so it costs credits and shows up as a run you can track.

A read, not an automated brief

Here is the honesty point. Performance Feedback hands you a scouting report, not a lineup card: it tells you what it sees, but it does not pick the players. It gives you a strategy document to read and act on. It does not write a new creative brief for you, and it does not dispatch new ads. You read the analysis, then decide what to make next, often by reaching for Make similar from the previous lesson.

The data gate

Each analyzer pre-flights on whether you have performance data. The underlying runners throw when there are zero performance rows, so the buttons stay disabled until real data exists rather than starting a run that fails minutes later. The buttons are editor-gated too, and viewers get the read-only hub.

In production today

With no paid rows yet, these analyzers have nothing to work with and the buttons stay gated. They earn their keep once a connected account has recorded real performance.
