The canvas
The canvas is where you build. Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, and use the controls in the corner to fit everything on screen or tidy up the layout. A mini map appears while you move around a large workflow.
To add a node, click the plus on the end of any node, click the plus on a line between two nodes, or press N. A panel opens on the right with search and groups.
The node groups
On an empty canvas the panel asks what triggers this workflow. After that it asks what happens next. Nodes come in these groups:
- Triggers. Trigger manually, On a schedule, On webhook call, On form submission, On chat message, On a Pinnora event, On an ad platform event, On winner detected, When executed by another workflow, and On workflow error.
- Pinnora AI. Generate static ads, images, video, UGC video, carousels, banners, documents, landing pages, email, and blog posts. Also Run research, Quality check, Edit creative, Upscale image, Remove background, the AI agent, and text steps like Summarization chain and Information extractor.
- Social. Schedule post, Publish now, Write social caption, Best posting time, and List connected channels.
- Ads. Create campaign, Create ad set, Publish ad, Pause ad, Create A/B test, Upload audience, Get performance, and Ad library search.
- Email. Subscriber, Broadcast, and Deploy email sequence.
- Apps and connections. Slack, GitHub, MCP tools, and Publish landing page.
- Data. Get library creatives, Data table, Web search, Fetch page, Sort, Filter, Aggregate, Date and time, and more.
- Flow. If, Switch, Merge, Loop over items, Wait, Budget gate, and Execute workflow.
- Core. Edit fields (Set), Code, HTTP request, and Send notification.
- Human in the loop. Send and wait for response, which pauses a run until someone approves, rejects, or replies.
The Generate nodes use the same settings you see when you make that creative by hand. A static ad node offers the same choices as the static ad maker, and it uses your brand the same way.
The node details view
Double-click a node to open its details. The view has three panes.
- Input on the left shows the data that arrived from the node before it.
- Parameters and Settings in the middle is where you set the node up. Settings holds options like Retry on fail and what to do on error.
- Output on the right shows what the node produced on its last run.
Input and Output can show data as a schema, a table, or raw JSON. Images and video show as thumbnails.
Keep it readable
Rename nodes so the canvas reads like a plan. Add a sticky note with Shift+S to explain a tricky part. Select several nodes and press Ctrl+G (Cmd+G on a Mac) to group them into a labeled frame. Groups only change the layout, never how the workflow runs.
