Why identity drifts
You can hold one person, one place and one look across a whole video.
A person's face changes between scenes, a room's furniture moves, the product gains a different label. All of these are the same problem: each scene is generated on its own, and anything you did not pin down gets decided again.
Steps
- List what must stay identical across the whole video: usually one person, one place, one product.
- Attach a reference for each of those, rather than describing them.
- Generate, then compare the last scene to the first.
- If something drifted, add a reference for that specific thing.
Why a description will not do it
A description narrows to a set of possibilities. Generating twice picks twice from that set. The more scenes you have, the more chances there are to pick differently, which is why drift gets worse with length.
What to watch for
Clothing drifts even when the face holds, and it is easy to miss because you are watching the face. Check the shirt.
