Who can spend
Billing control sits with the people who should have it.
Spending is a separate question from making things. Someone can be excellent at creative work and still not be the person who should change the plan.
Steps
- Decide who is allowed to change the plan and buy credits.
- Keep that group small and make sure it has more than one person.
- Check who currently has it, since it may not be who you assumed.
- Review it when the team changes.
Why separate from editing
Generation costs credits, so everyone who makes things spends. That is different from being able to change the plan or add funds, which is a commercial decision.
What to watch for
A single person holding billing access is a real operational risk. If they are on leave when the balance runs out, work stops.
